But no store in the County carries it in 2% or Whole.
Saw it suggested mixing a blend of Acidophilus and regular whole milk as a compromise.
Do you use it or see it in 2% or whole?

Purity Sweet Acidophilus is in all the Publix stores in Nashville. I think it is also in Krogers but I have stayed away from nasty Krogers for some time. I think the Purity is 2% but I stopped buying it as the milk spoiled quickly.

Thanks for the reply... The Kroger does not carry any here. Walmart here carries Purity Acidophilus, sometimes, but only ever in 1% No Publix here. Closest one is ~15 miles. So far for us the Acidophilus last just as long as regular, but we don't give milk a chance to go bad...

Just drink regular milk and eat some kraut. It's got lots of acidophilus.

I am lactose intolerant. If I need to drink something with unprocessed milk in it (cheese, yogurt, etc. are not a problem) I take a Lactaid (lactase) tablet prior to drinking. Normally I use almond "milk", but for example if we have clam chowder I will just take a lactase tablet.

Do they sell A2 milk? That should work for you. It does for most people who are lactose intolerant anyway.

Don't know about A2
We are not lactose intolerant that we know of. Just wanted to try it for our "digestion". I also drink a large glass of Prune and Apple juice 50/50 mix every morning Any roids are pretty much a thing of the past!

Yes! Sweet acidophilus milk can be beneficial even if you’re not lactose intolerant. It contains Lactobacillus acidophilus, a probiotic that supports gut health and digestion. Some potential
benefits include: Improved digestion – Helps break down lactose and other nutrients. Boosted immune system – Probiotics can support immune function. Reduced inflammation – May help lower inflammation in the body. Enhanced nutrient absorption – Can improve how your body absorbs vitamins and minerals.

You can just eat yogurt with active cultures--look up the contents on their website. Lactobacillus bulgaricus is the original source of culture for yogurt.
