My wife does investigational pharmacy. She puts down what people complain about when taking trial drug (or the placebo if not getting the drug but think they are) . I don't think they can exclude anything except for stuff like "I became pregnant while taking it". There is a threshold however on how many complaints it takes before getting added to official list.

Pretty much all drugs list headaches, fatigue, upset stomach, bowel problems, and dizziness as possible side effects because pretty much all of us experience such on occasion.

The one drug I take via injection once every four weeks lists both low blood pressure and high blood pressure and possible side effects!
