Like a convertible vehicle, I believe everyone should own a bullhorn at least once in their lifetime.

The bullhorn I have has a siren switch that makes coyotes howl when activated in the back country nighttime. Yes, I took it camping more than once. For... reasons.

It also made the quasicrazy neighbor shout gibberish in my direction. She used to loudly whistle at jets passing overhead because the jet noise bothered her. I haven't found out if the bullhorn or a jet is worse for her. It may be hard to find who has the bullhorn if you use it against a screen from indoors. So I'm told, at least. The police have been helpful.

Buy the bullhorn. You'll find it very useful in the "when you have a hammer, everything is a nail" way. But louder with a sprinkling of siren, and no hammer. Buy lots of batteries too.
