This is a Google Maps Satellite view of the parking lot. This was in front of GREAT CLIPS. And, by the way, the spaces directly in front of the stores are sufficiently long for a property parked truck. I parked my truck there on numerous occasions. Quit making excuses for the asshole.

I agree it looks pretty tight for a wheelchair to get by and he could easily be between the curb cutout for the wheelchair user to get up onto the sidewalk and the business they are going to. I know when my dad had Parkinson’s we had to put a wider door in both bathrooms because a wheelchair does not fit through a standard bathroom door. 32” is the minimum legal ADA door size but that still wont accommodate a larger person or some of the power wheelchairs.
Either way it’s an unnecessary dousche move.

If there’s THAT much parking available, Mister New Truck should have parked in a normal space out in the main lot instead of up against the sidewalk to begin with.
That’s my opinion, and worth every penny you paid for it.This message has been edited. Last edited by: vthoky,

Yes, I did:
And there was still a foot and a half sticking out the front of the space.

Looks like you're hugged up to the curb on the side, in an end space where you're less likely to get lateral traffic at the hitch. I give that a pass.

I like those spots as they lessen the chance someone dings my vehicle. I parked there for two minutes to pick up my pizzas. This is the spot:

I hate trucks, be they pickups, SUV's or the super tall vans. IMO every single vehicle that weighs in at 4000 lbs. or more should require a commercial drivers license to operate and get taxed about 10,000 dollars a year just because every asshole driving them is a road bully.
Yeah, I really hate trucks.
I've stopped counting.

4,000 pounds? That hits EVs pretty hard. Typical battery weight is at least 1,000 pounds, with some EVs having batteries that weigh double that, or more. I drive an EV that's just under 6,000 pounds. Nobody who has ever ridden with me would describe me as a road bully.

My Expedition is around 5500-5700lbs An S-Class Mercedes is around 4200lbs Even my 2010 Malibu was only 300lbs shy of this 4k lb arbitrary weight limit.

Just attach a heavy logging chain to the hitch and a large tree. Just kidding of course.

Backed in, way over the curb. Made sure the tires hit the curb, maximum intrusion over the sidewalk. Check the exhaust tip....yeah, he let it idle for 5 minutes rattling the windows. ^^^^^^^^^^^^ You park that in the wrong spot and all your windows are broken out, and you wonder why. At night it is hard to see these things and forget it if you are in a wheelchair.

V-Tail, I will give you and exception, in part because I think V-Tails are sweet. In addition you've been around for going on forever and us Geezers need to stick together. That said your 6000 EV would crush my Fiesta ST like a bug. BTW, the Fiesta ST is a lot like a road going Bonanza, quick, nimble, and a real hoot to drive.

My DD is a FiST as well. Agreed that it's a hoot to drive.

I have a bumper step in the receiver of both of our vehicles. I use it to protect my super expensive rear bumper that contains all sorts of cameras and sensors. The one on my pickup has several scrape marks on it so It's obvious it's been tapped a time or two . We also have handicapped plates on our vehicles so we are careful about being courteous to those that need it .

The coffee stand we use has one line serving two windows. There’s always an extended cab, huge trailer hitch that blocks the first lane. As there’s a bridal shop next to the lane, there’s no getting by. Ever notice none of these land yachts has ever hauled anything.
