I have a Logitech lighted keyboard with mechanical switches (the kind that feel like keys, not just pads to touch). It wasn't expensive - like $60. It is outside the stated 1 year warranty, but about 2 years old, best as I remember. Some of the key's lights no longer work. They keys work, but the lights are out. The key switches are not replaceable on this model. After some discussion with the on-line Logitech help guy, they are sending a new one, gratis. Good for Logitech. The fish is mute, expressionless. The fish doesn't think because the fish knows everything.

Good service, I run a Logitech K350 keyboard and mouse, they have always been good service, in fact I've used the current one so much the letters are gone on several keys, thank goodness I don't hunt and peck or I'd be fubar'd.

M510/K350 here, going strong after about 5 years of heavy use. Didn't know there was a backlit model. That'd be good for the house when I get my home office up & running. The Enemy's gate is down.

I really like their stuff. Never had any issues with any of their mice or keyboards. I always get their wireless keyboard. They cost more than other brands but worth it to me. _____________

For me it was more about the clicky mechanical switch keys than the lights. I type better on those keys that offer some feed back. But the few lights being out drives me insane. It is a little hard to read the letter on the key without the light, but I am a decent touch typist. I write a lot for my work. This is a little like a gamer keyboard, but the lights are only one color - white. The model is K845. The fish is mute, expressionless. The fish doesn't think because the fish knows everything.

Thanks, might look into that when one of my K350s go out. Definitely looks more 'clicky' than the K350 [which I wouldn't mind], I'm just spoiled to the more ergo shape & the palmrest. The Enemy's gate is down.

I agree with jhe, I need the feedback of the clicky switches. I bought a refurb Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2 about 5 years ago off NewEgg for about $90. It is all still working perfect, lights and all. The wrist rest is starting to need recovering. Since I really like it I will likely just recover it myself. I also like the way they have magnets holding it to the KB.
