FredwardRetail Computer Security is Getting Ridiculous!
I just placed an order online at Lowes. It took literally (I went back and counted) 4 emails and 2 texts to get the damn thing placed. I know they need to be careful, but come on folks!

AnushI agree, I have to access the Revenue Depts of about 30 states. Today I was locked out of the Software that produces sales tax returns for the 30 states. I buy a lot of items online and it takes much longer for many websites. As an old accountant I know the Security costs are much greater than $ lost.

V-TailWOOT! had a special on something we wanted. Ordered it -- "denied!"
Tried a couple time, seems that Synchrony Bank's fraud department was denying the charge. They are the issuer of my Amazon store card.
Once I figured this out, I changed the payment method to Apple Card. Bada Bing! The order has shipped.
Opened "chat" and told Stink-rony to either get their act together or cancel my account. Agent says will escalate and let me know via email.

LeemurThere are so many scams for online ordering that it’s become difficult to place legit orders. It won’t stop until scammers start getting caught and severely punished.

FredwardAnd again! Two "two factor" texts and an email to place an order from WalMart. I'd have driven to the store, but, WalMart! I may be stinky, ugly, and rude, but not at the WalMart level!
