I usually find one at Costco. Last one I bought was like 3-4 years ago. Sits outside year round on a metal reel. Still working fine although "never kink" is the 4th great lie, like the check's in the mail. Saw a nice metal reel on wheels at Sams the other day for $88.

Holy Cow! Amazon wants $180 for a 125 foot Eley hose. The Eley site want $150 for a hundred footer.

I bought two new 75 footers and need at least another one, but ain't paying that much.

Here's a good one --> https://www.acehardware.com/de...garden-hoses/7307697

I bought this one last year a supply/inlet hose for a gas powered pressure washer. I have two 25' versions of the exact hose (since 2006) for watering landscape beds, but I REALLY needed a 75' hose for this application. I looked at all the super high-tech hoses out there from Teknor-Apex (NeverKink PRO & Zero-G PRO), and others, but they did not give me confidence that they'd hold up like the Craftsman hose I was already VERY satisfied with. It's got beefy (but not ridiculously over sized) nickel plated solid brass couplings and it's rubber so it's extremely durable and wont crack!

I believe the same hose is now also sold under the Briggs & Stratton brand and available on Amazon --> https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0...ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

That said, sometimes you just want to put your hands on something before you buy it. You can find the Craftsman hose at you local Ace Hardware....Ace is the Place! Wink

Our Eley reel, mounted on a 4x4 post with a 100 ft hose is one of the nicest pieces of equipment I've come across. No more wrestling with the tangles my wife can put in a hose, Smile and she likes it, too, so points there for me. I stick to Goodyear/Continental rubber hoses, though, because they just last for a long, long time laying out in the desert sun. The outsides start fading, but they don't crack or fail.

The Eley stuff looks great, I've been searching for a hose reel that isn't terrible. Just not sure I can bring myself to spend $275 for a hose reel right now...

Their wall mounted reel is $179 on their web site. It has a capacity of 125 ft. of 5/8" hose, and there is an extra capacity kit for $24 that can increase that to 200 ft. of 5/8" hose. If you want to post mount, it is just the wall mounted reel with a post mounting kit, bringing the price to about $203. These are Eley's web site prices. I don't know if deals are available. Amazon shows "currently unavailable" for the wall mounted reel.
