Thus the metric system did not really catch on in the States, unless you count the increasing popularity of the nine-millimeter bullet.

Space is at a premium. Gotta have room to tuck them away when they retract. They do use a special 78% nitrogen blend and fairly high inflation pressure, and you would be astounded at the price tag for these small tires.
You're looking at the nose wheel in that photo. In terms of wear, the nose wheel is the first to leave the runway, the last to touch down, and does not do any braking.

Me too . I'm so pleased with it I use it in my generator and dolly tires .We're high tech around here .
