Just STOP with the Weed STOP IT NOW!!!!
What in the ever-loving fuck is going on with marijuana. Every damn parking lot reeks of people smoking weed. I drive down the street and the car in front of me blows a cloud of smoke wham in my AC vent, it's trying to kill me.

You want to get high, go home and knock yourself out. I am not required to get a contact high just to carry out my daily life.

Checkout clerks, blasted out of their minds, smelling like weed it is obnoxious.

Cigarette smoke was never this bad.

Haven't run into it on quite that level, but I DO get a solid nose hit in the strangest places.

Getting a whiff from a passing car/truck bothers me a little. Have to wonder just how stoned they are and if they should be driving.

Ya know, if I wandered around smelling like whiskey all the time, or couldn't make it through my day without hitting off my flask, someone might say I have a problem.

For some reason this is different though. I say this as a libertarian-minded person, do whatever you want, just don't hurt anybody while you're doing it, and be prepared for the consequences if you do, but the double standard is wild.

I'll say it. They want us docile and encourageable. King Charles II of England banned coffee houses. He didn't want sober people sitting around talking. I think the same is happening with weed. I suspect some stoner will come along and talk about the different strains and the benefits, but I think it's to keep us from focusing.

It depends on where you live and work. I know of few places of employment where smoking weed is acceptable. Most places do drug testing. Truck drivers are tested randomly as are people in safety sensitive postions. I do not think there is a double standard by any means. Of course San Francisco and Oregon are excluded.

Was sitting at my daughter's elementary school cafeteria waiting on their Christmas program to start, still people coming in & finding seats.

Got hit with a very strong wave of it, assuming from outside, but was like someone was sitting next to me & blew it my way.

I agree with Timdogg6 and I'm an ex smoker of tobacco products. I can't stand the smell of marijuana, especially skunk weed which seems to be the favorite around here.

Buddy and I were in Scottsdale a month ago, we rented a couple of Harley Softails and were cruising around, out to an Indian Casino, up into the hills, a day around Scottsdale, kept smelling super pungent nasty smells, he's a LEO and said "its the new pot, shit is nasty, smells bad, it's all genetically altered pot, not like the stuff we had as kids"

He's right, smelled like shit and there wasn't a street you rode down that it wasn't there, all over. Can't imagine going into work smelling like that, it'd be like you shit your pants for a week and wore the same ones every day...

That shit is worse than diesel exhaust....

I rented a car in Detroit a few weeks ago. First car they gave me was terrible - I don't know if it was the previous renter or the person who cleaned it, but that car smelled absolutely terrible. Second car had a very slight smell, but that might have just been from my luggage sitting in the first car for 10 seconds before I switched.

It’s bad here as well.
Just wait till it is legal everywhere.

Question for LEO's. If I'm driving a rental car and get pulled over for a traffic violation and they
want to search my car, what do I do? Fifty people could have rented that car before me and dropped
A piece of crack or weed under the seat. I haven't smoked a joint in in 35 years, I wouldn't want to
get busted for somebody elses drugs. I'm sure this has happened before.

It's so bad here that my local shooting range/gun store has a couple of signs up that state that if you smell like weed, don't bother coming in.

In my experience, most chronic weed smokers have gone totally noseblind to the overwhelming stench. They don't realize how obvious and pervasive the smell is on and around them and all their stuff, because they're steeped in it 24/7, so their brain has just learned to tune it out like background noise.

Tobacco smokers, animal hoarders, and those with constant terrible body odor all experience the same thing. They're used to the smell and subconsciously ignore it. We're not, and can't.

MJ smells like a blend of skunk twat and sweaty armpits but at least it doesn't linger like cigarette smoke. That shit sticks to everything.

I don’t like it either. I’ve got idiots at the gym that stink something fierce. I’m like really lady? High as fuck and lifting weights? What could go wrong?

The bigger issue is the phones for me. Fuckheads you are going to kill someone because you have to check your social media page while you drive a vehicle?

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

By letter of the law; Plain smell would give them the search. You as the driver (especially if the only one in the vehicle) are pretty much responsible for everything in the vehicle.

Now common sense of the officer and further questioning would lead to what happens next.

As for crack, goodness gracious I haven’t seen crack in a decade and I miss it terribly! Crack was so much easier to deal with than meth was worlds easier to deal with than pills, heroin, and fentanyl.

Nebraska makes good money pulling over those Rentals out of Colorado. It would be wise to carefully go over your Rental car.

After I moved in where I live now I told my cousin I thought we had a skunk around. He laughed and said it was just the next door neighbors smoking weed on their backyard deck. Weed now smells a lot nastier than it used to.
