Email from Chase fraud at two am. I was up and spent half an hour going over bogus charges on my credit card account. The Philipines call center, it was 4pm there. Five hundred dollars for theater tickets, and then the DNA lounge in San Francisco. Like I would be hanging out there. Here is link for your entertainment. I think I spotted Shugart at the Hubba Hubba review LOL link:

Do you ever learn the source off the fraud - how someone got your account?

I've only been told that it's a business that I've used. They won't tell me what business. Or even if it's online or in-store transaction.

Usually not since the card isn't your property and the credit card company is the listed victim

No, Daoism isn't a religion

They "prevented" the fraud?

I received a call from my banks "fraud prevention" last month. I confirmed that it was a boggus charge & noticed another one as I checked online. I was told "we can do nothing, call your branch Mon morning". It took two weeks to get my $148 redeposited.

I have an American Express card and a B of A Visa card.
B of A Visa was preventing me from making even gasoline purchases on a trip to California when we lived in Hawaii.
AmEx texts me when an international purchase is made or other potential fraudulent purchase, I can respond Y I made the purchase or contact the fraud department.
Very happy with AmEx in this regard. They don't decline it, just confirm it.
