400m7th circuit Court of Appeals
Slower than my new Subaru!
It’s hard to have patience when I need SCOTUS to tell Gov. Pritzker that he and his illegal PICA act (Il gun ban effective 1/10/23), can go pound sand.
But they aren’t going to hear arguments of Barnett v. Raoul until the 7th rules on it. The 7th is dragging their feet even though oral arguments wrapped up last September. I’m pretty sure they know that the Supreme Court is going to hand Il Attorney General Kwame Raoul his hat when they do.
I understand it can’t be rushed. I understand it is crucially important. It is extremely difficult to have much patience when a governor can deny a natural right to his constituents when it clearly is a violation of the Bill of Rights.
I find it difficult to believe that any other right, denied to you by the government, would take this long to rectify.
People suck and governments are comprised of people. People who don’t care about your rights if they find those rights distasteful. They will deny you regardless, then bankrupt you and jail you for not complying.

cee_Kamp400m,
Don't feel bad, it isn't just the 7th Circuit Court.
The same liberal activist judge & politician disease is in play all across the country.
Here in New York, we have been waiting for Supreme Court relief from unconstitutional gun control laws for 115 years. (Google the NYS Sullivan Act)
We are still waiting.
The shitty states, they already have laws drafted and waiting for negating any wins from the Supremes. New York implemented the "Concealed Carry Improvement Act" within days of the Supreme Court Bruen win.
They pass the new "improved" legislation in the middle of the night, without any fear of public reprisal.
Long term, it's likely going to take the gallows, guillotine, and plenty of ammunition for really fixing the problem permanently. Hopefully not during my lifetime.
I see in the list below that virtually every Circuit Court Zone has at least one shitty gun control state. Except possibly the 5th Circuit.
