Rarely ever get to watch anything live. FC Cincinnati is playing Inter Miami boys are excited as we are Cincy fans of course. But Messi is playing for Miami so can’t ask for much more other than to be there but don’t have the scratch to take 5 people.
Luckily we got Paramount+ a couple months back and this live feed just keeps buffering. Missed the goal for Miami to take the lead.
Pissed! Internet is going plenty fast. Not watching 4K hand TV is pulling down 150mbps.

Are you using an Apple TV, or another external device, or are you using the tv software? I’ve never had buffering on it, like ever.

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

No.
However I did not try any other live streams.

Built in Amazon FireTV, XBOX One, and a plug in Amazon FireTV.

Tried it on all 3 TVs in the house.
I did not try any other live events but all the other shows I tried worked just fine in Paramount+, Disney+, and Netflix.

Checked my internet speeds on the TV itself that is hardwired and was pulling down 150mbps consistently.

Never had it buffer before tonight either even when I only had 50mbps speed service.

I had this problem last night watching Homeland on Paramount+. Using a Amazon Firestick.Ended up exiting the Firestick and then restarting it which seemed to cure the problem.
Never have had this happen before, it was quite annoying.

I think it's a hardware or software issue on your end, I have Paramount+ and it's always fine. 500 Mbps fiber connection but due to router location (I'm planning on moving it to better location) the Wi-Fi speeds at my Roku TV are around 250-300 Mbps

I would advise you:

Do an update of your streaming device
Try removing and re-adding your Wi-Fi connection to the device

3 different hardwired devices all rebooted and up to date. Rebooted both modem and router. Only had the issue with the soccer feed. Would get buffering then flash to a screen that said video not available.
Was able to watch numerous other non live streams on Paramount+, Netflix, and Disney+ all with zero issues while trying to sort the issue out.

Only issue arose with the soccer feed. Never had issues like this before nor did I have any issues right after the match was over.

Paramount+ is easily the worst of the streaming services I've tried.

I wonder if there were just too many people trying to watch that and Paramount's servers couldn't handle it?

Likely so (very disappointing) it was the Semifinals for the US Open Cup with Cincinnati FC having the best record in the league and Messi now plays for Miami so it was a huge game.
I was trying to get tickets but most were around $1500 each and would need 5 so that was not happening.

I thought this was interesting. My son sent me a tweet showing a bodyguard following Lionel Messi around everywhere, even up and down the sidelines during games.

It seems he was brought in by David Beckham, no co-owner of Inter Miami, to ensure that no overenthusiatic fans or celebrity-obsessed psycho can get near Messi. Here is a video I found showing the bodyguard.
