If I would have cancelled the order I would have been charged a 15-20% restocking fee.
If I wrote them a check and it bounced I would be charged a fee.

Why do vendors not owe me a fee when they cancel on me??
3 EBay sellers cancelled my orders!
1st seller claimed to have “more than 1l set of 4 when I ordered.
The following day they cancelled saying no stock.

Ordered from a different vendor the next day they claimed to have 20+ single units when I ordered 4. 5 days later they cancelled my order saying they had no stock.

Next day I ordered from a 3rd vendor who claimed to have 12+. I ordered 4 again.
2 days later they cancelled my order saying they had no stock.

Complete and utter crap!! I am unable to leave Feedback on any of the vendors as they cancelled.

I can’t find an actually email to contact eBay about this nonsense and not one of the vendors have replied to my message inquiring about the cancellations.

I should be able to charge them a cancelation just as they would have charged me a restocking fee.

I have to say I agree with you. If the transaction went through and they took your money, they owe you something even if they returned it.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." I've had this happen, multiple times and it's annoying, especially since I'm usually looking on eBay because I want something that's an oddball and/or discontinued item that I can't find elsewhere. I get REALLY annoyed when the eBay vendor indicates 'order cancelled at customer request'... Roll Eyes

It kind of makes you evaluate the vendor doesn't it?

Especially if I am depending on something for a business client - I can't have an uncertain order system.

As far as getting paid for a cancellation - Good Luck. Frown

I recently bought a Sneaky Pete holster for my .32acp Seecamp. What arrived several weeks later was a POS when compared to what I bought from them several years ago, so I returned the item in early December this year.

Got confirmation from USPS on deliver date, but SP still has not returned my monies, claiming they did not receive the holster.

On Monday, I will email them a photo of the USPS slip showing the delivery date.

All had a 98%+ or more rating.
Of course I can’t rate them because we never actually had a transaction.

Do my best not to but sometimes what I am looking for I can only find there.

Update: I got the refund less shipping to me, so I paid for shipping both ways. Under 20 bucks, so I'll settle for that.
