ugeestaFreestyle Libre blood sugar sensors
Yup, they do suck.
Our cat has IBD and the Prednisalone she is on kicked her back into diabetes. We’ve tried three of the CGMs and all have failed within 5 days of being installed.
The damn cat looks like a checkerboard more with the coat shaved in spots for the sensors

ChowserI’m still on the libre2 because my pharmacy company can’t get any libre3 sensors in.
I use these to cover them and haven’t had one come off anymore.
I have had 3 sensors fail and aabott replaced them within a few days.

Black92LXWe use similar stickers as well as some goo. They are no match for daily pool and chlorine. Trying to find some sort of wrap to put over it when he swims that will keep the sticker dry as well.
We use the 2 because it can be linked to the stand alone monitor.
The 3 can only be linked to a single device/phone and there is no monitor for it. And being our schedules are nuts, it’s sometime the wife and I that take him to sports, sometimes just me or the wife, or the in-laws.
Easier to pass of the Libre reader and not have a dedicated phone.
Hopefully soon someone will make an app for the Apple Watch that can solely collect the data independently and not need the phone as well.
I’d buy him a used Apple Watch for ease of use on these things.

92fstechChowder, thanks for that I'll look into it. Does that thing stay on for the full 2 weeks?
Black, I like the reader as well. The sensors don't work with my phone, and the reader is really quick and simple to use. Until this compatibility error I've not had any issues with the reader.
