Flash-LBMen who can not admit when they are wrong
In general, I agree about women never being wrong but this morning hell froze over.
Mrs. Flash came up to me while I was feeding the dog and said she was wrong about something we'd argued about the day before.
Thought I'd have a heart attack and have to call 9-1-1

IrishWindI used to work with a very uninformed/ very over opinionated guy. Even when you pull out evidence to prove he was wrong, he would acknowledge his error, admit you're right, then spend the next 15-30 minutes still arguing how he was still right. He even admitted he started a few fights after no one accepting his facts as truth.

apprenticeMany times in my working life, and just life in general, I'll start a statement with "I could be wrong..."
Tends to diffuse a lot of opposition before it happens. Funny how that works.

Rey HRHIf ever I'm ever in the wrong, I think I'll be willing to admit it. Unfortunately, I haven't been wrong yet so I don't have proof.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

divilI think modern culture embraces and perpetuates the notion that personal accountability, introspection and humility are for suckers.
