I am so fecking tired of website retailers who pull this shit.

Website says “in stock, ships same day if order placed by noon!”

Utter bullshit!

Ordered Wednesday...still only shows label created.

Had another asshat on eBay pull the same shit...needed to sick eBay on his ass to actually put the small item in the mail.

Thanks for the vent...

Sure it is. With todays piss ant attention spans, all of the touchy clicky feel good bullshit assholes need is to have is a tracking number so they can feel good about themselves.

If I give them a real tracking number from a real post office, I'm told that I ship too slow when it was the next day.

Realize that just because someone can furnish a credit card number and an address, it doesn't mean they have anything higher than the intellectual capacity of a walnut.

I sell and ship stuff all the time and this is what I have to deal with on a regular basis.

That does bug me. Do I car? Tell me when it actually leaves! Though it's not as bad when it honestly says "shipping label created".

The ones that really bug me are the emails I'd get from Midway or whomever. "Your item has shipped." Mmmm... No. It's 3AM on Sunday, no it hasn't.

I bought some items recently - arrived at "shipping partner", then stuck there for almost two weeks. The seller told me it was because of "enhanced" procedures at their shipping company. The item? A package of the blue paper masks in a plastic bag. Stick it in an envelope and ship it.

I ended up cancelling the order and refusing delivery. It appears I have yet another package from another vendor in the same process now. Already got the refund. It was shipped from the vendor about 500 miles from me (in the same state, no less) on 4/6, then sat. Looks like they will try to deliver it this week.

I had an order from a group that has an employee who is on here on occasion that was listed as waiting fulfillment. Every week told it was busy and trying to get the order out. In the 3rd week the group finally says they are waiting on supplies or new stock to come in.

Well that's backorder, not in stock as it still says on their website. I wouldn't have ordered otherwise. Asked for a refund but that's not happening either. May have to file a claim with the bank.

Maybe there should first be a notice of THINKING ABOUT CREATING A SHIPPING LABEL. It is all bullshit. When I was a kid it was SIX to EIGHT weeks for delivery. When the item made it you had often forgotten whatyou had ordered. This is what things are like with the iternet.

You can always buy locally if the item is available. If it is critical you can pay more for expedited shipping.

I sell on ebay and gunbroker (as well as my website)

we generate all postage in house,

sometimes, packages are scanned when dropped off, sometimes they are placed in the APC hopper or dropped in the bin, or mailbox,

USPS, which actually does us good, sometimes does not scan a package when it is moved from one place or the other,

shipped one to the west coast once, tracking showed label generated for a couple days, we search the vehicles to make sure we did not overlook it

then it showed in the system in some midwest state hub,

BTW,, everyone whats things shipped like it is amazon prime,

but I paid for it last night, at 7pm, and there is no movement on the tracking at 7am the next day, are you ever gonna ship it??
