Tired of seeing Animated GIFs in threads

The overuse of GiFs in threads that are new and original are one thing. Seeing the same ones over and over contributes little and can be annoying in excess.

GIFs in threads are fine. I can scroll past them. GIFs in a signature or avatar is such a lame distraction. I absolutely cannot stand those.
