My guess is that airplanes (and the like) and Marijuana have similar connotations — I.e. “I’m about to take off”, “ready for blast off”, “I’m about to get lifted”, “let’s get high’, etc. etc.

So heading to “the hangar” to get your weed makes sense to me.

It’s been a loonnnnggggg time since I last dabbled with weed and I can only imagine the lift off that today’s lab created stuff provides.
