It’s not as cut and dried as that. Many/most of the people this POS bilks are elderly. He’s the worst of the worst.

I get it. But we can’t be custodians of old people. Just because you’re old doesn’t absolve you of responsibility.

Popoff, Jimmy Swaggart, Jim Baker, Tilson have all been truly documented committing malfeasance. Yet, I still see Swaggart and Baker on TV shaking people down. The people who give them money have no excuse being taken in.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

I saw the movie "Elmer Gantry" as a teen. Haven't trusted an evangelist since.

It's a good thing since you appear to be easily persuaded. Eek

I agree. It is wise to allow a "movie" and/or "character" to determine your views.
