Trying to make an appointment with an actual doctor via the phone tree that Emory has set up is the most frustrating experience possible. You can't talk to the office of the physician itself. You must talk to someone as a clearinghouse and it just sucks.

Even if your physician has referred you to another specific doctor you can't contact them . The gatekeeper system is the worst patient service possible.

My wife had a doctor appointment yesterday. Got there 10 minutes early. 45 minutes later she found out they had forgotten about her. The girl at the front desk checked her in and forgot to notify the doctor and head nurse she was there. It's just so hard to get competent help anymore.
