Irritating as hell. Thankfully, they're short and usually have a skip option so you don't have to suffer through the whole thing. What really ticks me off is having them pop up anytime you try to go forward, or backward, in the video.

If you watch youtube in a browser on your computer, an ad blocker will block those ads. If you watch youtube on your phone, the ad blocker in the mobile Brave browser will work to block those ads as well. That's on Android. Don't know if Apple has anything in their ecosystem that works like that.

Yeah me too. I listen to less popular you tube videos and have noticed a lack of pop up ads. It is annoying I agree.

Duh now I really feel stupid. I had reloaded firefox and forgot to turn on the ad blockers!
