"For", when used in combination with advocate. As in "Advocate for"... anything". When used as a verb, advocate means supporting; in favor of. To say advocate for is unnecessary and redundant but has become too common.

As in Gun show loophole that gun control nuts claim. I've been going to gun shows for some 30 years and I have yet find a Gun show loophole.
