Holy Shit Mr Paul, what are you feeding em?

He probably didn’t even chew it, likely severed it by stepping on it!

11 years to retirement! Just waiting!

Big Grin

One of my daughter's Akitas. Puppy, about 8 months old, 110 pounds. Glad I'm not footing the bill for Dog Chow!

Lunch with the Wolfhound. Notice she is looking right at me, not the tasty pastrami sandwich. She is well mannered and would not dare touch it (as long as I were there Wink).

^^^ Are they really as vocal as the YouTube videos make them out to be?

Yes they are (daughter has one).

So are Malamutes. (Ours is a year old and teaching the Brittany how to interrupt conversations between my wife and i.

Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

My Mikiko is the exception. She is the quietest dog I have ever had. She only does that weird husky howling if she doesn't get her food first since I always feed her blind brother first.

She doesn't even bark anymore unless someone barks at her first.

Our just-over-one-year-old Irish Wolfhound is thankfully not an annoying barker. She does announce deliveries to the garage (which is 300 feet from the street, so the truck comes up close to her fence). Just some woofs, though, and some of the drivers bring treats. But just let Mom leave the house, and, after a bit of quiet whining, she lets loose with a howl you wouldn't believe. It starts out low and quiet, increases in pitch and intensity and is sustained there, then starts a downward spiral. [She is in the house when she does this, waiting at the door to the garage.]

That’s a great picture. I’ve gone back and looked at it about 5 times now, and laughed every time.
