Logitech mouse $90 dead after 3 months?
WTF - I've only had the mouse for a few months. It has a rechargeable battery so I connected the charger (USB) to charge overnight. Today, the mouse is completely dead. No signs of life. No LEDs turn on.

The Logitech website is utterly moronic and useless. Trying to find help, tips, how to get warranty service. What a circular cluster fuck. I'm not sure if their website is intentionally designed this way to lead you in circles or if someone needs to be fired. Or both.

Whatever - Logitech - fuck you. Another fantastic product brought to you by those CCP fuckheads.

I buy the Logitech MK 270 Combo Mouse & Keyboard set. The wireless mouse dies in 12 to 18 months. That is OK for $25 & I get a new un-nasty keyboard.

I have not had a logitech mouse die on me in the last 20 years.

Have you tried charging the mouse with a new cable and a confirmed working power source?

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." The mouse I'm using now is a Logitech MX Master that I got in July 2016.

I’ve bought several Logitech products myself. I know they have a good reputation. But based on my own experiences I’m not impressed with their products.

Only corded for me. I had a microsoft sidewinder mouse that was awesome but died after 15 years of hard use. they dont make stuff with any durability anymore.

And I seem to have the kiss of death when it comes to electronics batteries dying. so frustrating.

90 bucks for a mouse? Wow! Does it cook for you, too?

I have put roughly 6000 hours on the MX Master 2S that I use at work, with no issues.

Logitech has always been solid for me. I am typing this on a Logitech keyboard and entering it with a Logitech mouse.

Check your battery.
Check your Power Supply.
Check the Logitech Software if so installed to get further data.
FWIW, saying "Fuck You" to Logitech isn't going to solve the problem. Frown

My 13 year old gaming logitech mouse gave up the ghost a few months back was so old it still worked but had a charging stand and would not make proper contact so I couldn't charge it.

Caved and bought their most expensive G502 Gaming Mouse retails for 150 but got it on sale with my mothers employee discount paid 80 bucks for it. I love it to death.

One thing I would try that I noticed when I have to charge it is try turning off the on/off switch in the back to get the charging lights to work. My mouse takes about 2 hours to charge to full.

And if I turn off the RGB lights on it, will last 4-5 weeks on a full charge.

I also had two wireless microsoft mice that lasted 12+ yrs, they just wouldn't die.

And I also went back to corded mice.
I have higher end(G502) and mid/lower grade(G203) Logitech mice and they are both great.

Down here, the backwoods of the 4th world, Logitec is a safe bet.

Depending of rhe mouse model, i’d check the transmitter (ir, radio or bt), the USB port if in use, and would try it on another machine starting from scratch.
90 bucks down the toilet demand a few tries before flushing.

I seem to get good-mileage out the Logitech M325. Replaced one that lasted five years. Pretty cheap, and reliable for a cordless mouse. Read a number of bad reviews on the higher-priced versions though.

I've had good luck with corded Logitech mice. Not so much with the wireless ones. I've had two of those crap out on me within 3 months of purchase. Not rechargeable ones, just regular batteries. Put fresh batteries in and still doesn't work. No more.

I like the original mouse even at $90. It was capable of connecting to two computers wirelessly. I have 2 computers - one for work, one for personal. So, it was quick to toggle and reduced desk clutter. And it was comfortable to use. (similar set up for keyboard - I get rid of the KVMA switch which was functional but had a tedious lag of about 10 sec to switch).

But doesn't matter if it doesn't work. I bought an M575 as replacement - I've had decent luck w/ the M570. We'll see how it goes. I've got two mice on the desk now but at least it works.
