If you're goin' through hell, keep on going.
Don't slow down. If you're scared don't show it.
You might get out before the devil even knows you're there.

It wasn’t last Saturday, but the Zilwaukee bridge is open both directions today. Taking 675 wasn’t that bad the four times I had to do it. So far, knock on wood, I’ve had zero construction related issues from Cheboygan to Detroit.

Northbounders will soon get the pleasure of taking 675 north as that side is being shut down for maintenace soon.

There’s a reason I like 127, No Zilwaukee.

We're on Lake Huron. 127 adds 40 miles and at least 30 minutes to our travel. We try not to travel north on Friday or south on Sunday. Absolutely, no travel around the 4th or Labor Day.

And now we have another MDOT production, traffic light controlled expressway entrance ramps in I-96 between the Novi and Milford interchanges.

Not that this has ever been tried before (John C. Lodge and I-94 in Detroit) and been removed as unworkable.

It’s especially going to be exciting to see semis and gravel trains get up to speed (allegedly)from a dead stop in maybe 300 feet to merge with a posted speed of 70 where in reality most everyone travels at 80 or so. And/or the amount of rear end collisions on these ramps.

The inmates running the asylum I say.
