Neighbors!
Welcome to the world of responsibility. Way, way too many worthless human beings on the planet.

Gee, I wonder if someone would spread some fertilizer by hand to read something along the line of this, and nowhere else on the lawn: TEST GRASS DO NOT MOW, or LAWN HELP NEEDED, or I'M TOO LAZY TO MOW.

Came home from running around this afternoon, neighbor was just finishing mowing his & my front yard.

Wanted to make sure I wasn't mad at him for it. Heck no, was gonna mow tomorrow actually but he's a really nice guy. Cool

Says he thinks his yard looks nicer when both our lawns are mowed. (I'm a bit more relaxed on the subject)

Man, your post pissed me off. I hate scumbag lowlife people. Bitch, get a $50 used lawn mower, put your future prison parolee sons on the back of it, and keep your lawn mowed. What a bitch !!!

Don’t hold it in. Let us know what you really think. Wink

First I would nicely explain to your neighbor that it is not your responsibility to make her yard look better by neglecting your own yard.
Second I let her know for a fee you could make her yard look as good as yours.

With that said.

My wife and I love our neighbors. We have lived in our house 22 years next month. Most of us have been here the same amount of time.

We help each other out all the time. Yard work, home repairs, car repairs what ever, we all have a great relationship.

One neighbor is a single mom. She keeps her yard immaculate. I have helped her board up for hurricanes several times over the years. I have done the same for the neighbor's across the street.

We borrow things from each other all the time with no problems. Everything is always returned, nothing ever gets lost.

Back in march I had 3 pallet's of sod delivered. I was going to do it over 2 days. Fifteen minutes after it showed up two neighbors showed up with work gloves and helped put it down. Four hours later we were done.

The other night we sat in our drive way talking to the neighbors and the subject of Bourbon came up. Five minutes later I brought out a bottle of blantons and Angels Envy, he brought out a bottle of 18 year old Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch and a bottle of Hennessy.

We just talked about doing a mini block party in the fall.

I don't like mowing, but it's gotta get done.

I remember my mouth outrunning my brain once when Dad wanted me to mow. My ass still hurts from that kicking it got back during the first Nixon administration.

I would like to apologize to anyone I have *not* offended. Please be patient. I will get to you shortly.

With the exception of my one nutty neighbor, that's how we roll!!! Had a new neighbor across the street. A big limb broke off of a tree in his front yard blocking his driveway. By the time he came home we had it all cut up and stacked.

This is how I feel about yard work in general. But if somebody moved in next door and said that to me, I’ll just say I’d be highly motivated to bump my landscaping up a notch or ten. Probably be yard of the month material in six weeks.

Lol I'd like to live next to your neighbor. I mow my grass every 3 weeks or so whether it needs it or not Big Grin

To be fair, my grass is patchy and never grew in real well (new home completed in Oct, 2020.) Next year I may mow a little more often Cool

I suppose she won't want to shovel her driveway and walkways come winter?
