Black92LXReusing food I sent back.
Went to a place for breakfast I don’t particularly like.
They have these doughnut things that are more like mini cakes and the boy wanted one.
So I just ordered a Sausage, Egg, and Cheese biscuit. No fig jam or sage butter because those things or anything else do not belong on a proper Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit.
It comes out and I take a bite. Probably just should have stopped there as the biscuit and egg were nice and hot however the sausage was not even lukewarm.
However I took a second bite and the sausage was ice cold. So back it went.
Upon the return of what looked to be a new sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit I lifted up the biscuit to make sure there was no fig jam or sage butter nonsense.
There was my old egg with two nice bites of of it and my teeth marks!
No more fancy doughnuts for the boy.

pedropcolaSounds like a dream spot. Yuck. As an aside, my daughter and I have gotten competitive in the world of breakfast sandwiches/bagels/burritos. We have gotten pretty good at it by the way. I was surprised to discover that a little Taco Bell mild sauce inside a breakfast burrito is fantastic. (We have a drawer with extra packets, sauces, chopsticks, etc) Anyway, now I find I mostly critique restaurants for their version and occasionally take ideas for my newest creation. What you had sounds like microwave hell.

gjgalliganI always thought food that was cold and sent back was just warmed up and returned to the customer. That is all I ever expected.

P220 SmudgeTen years of working in kitchens and that’s the first time I’ve heard of such a thing being done. I would’ve walked into the fucking kitchen to chew someone’s ass.
