Some Stuff You Can't Sell Anywhere?
Nitro "Drive" rollator...pretty simple device. Four wheels and a frame. Brakes. Seat. Facebook Marketplace says 'whoa now, that there is a medical device and we don't allow selling those deevices here.'

Sig P320 grip module...one of those Legion looking "frames"...eBay looks at the image, apparently, and thinks it is a completely dangerous item. Nope, not gonna let you sell it here.

You hate to donate items that need new homes, but maybe that is the best approach.

That's just messed up, My dad has two, however, that would be something nice to find someone who can't afford one, the feel good quotient of that would exceed all monetary gain..

Karma off the Grip Mod here and get some good will out of it!

Please consider donating the rollator to a Disabled Veterans organization.

Had a Mercedes gauge cluster I bought for $90 off eB that I ended up not needing. Couldn't sell even at a deep discount, so gave it away on Craigslist. The other guy's lucky day.

Had a Electric Scooter that Mom no longer wanted.......same issue with Facebook, can't sell that "Medical Device" here. Yet there were 20 others for sale. Apparently their "suggested" category to list it in was the issue. Sold it elsewhere in a couple of hours.

sold a motorcycle for a friend/customer on ebay marketplace,

never again,

that place is a shit hole for shit holes to live

took 7 months, and I had 2 friends that were motorcycle peeps look the bike over and listing

all was factual,
still got called a liar, thief, threatened to call the law, etc etc,

ended up selling to a couple of country boys, nice guys, for a lowball price, just to be rid of it,

ebay, do a lot of business there, but they suck when it comes to seller support, and are full of dipshits that should be read only internet, and scammers,

eBay doesn’t just suck for sellers. They are actively against sellers. You can boldly say no returns in the description. Have no returns in the auction data. Have clear pictures of the item(s). Say in the description that the image is what you get. If the buyer wants a return eBay will force it on you. They do at least refund the 20% fee they took.

off topic, but I sell a ton of stuff on ebay,
they generally are more than happy to side with a buyer and fuk a seller,

however, sold a rather high priced item last month that the buyer said was never delivered,

yet usps says it was, and ebay sided with me,

so now, happy wiht ebay, it that holds

eBay definitely sucks balls these days. I’ve been on there since 1999 but every time I deal with some asshat I swear I’m closing my account.

I've bought and sold tens of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise on eBay over nearly 25 years, but would never even consider listing a vehicle there. FB Marketplace is also a sewer, but even that's better than eBay for that type of sale.

Personally, if I am not selling local only, I use niche forums for those types of sales. For example, I have bought/sold four or five motorcycles on the ADV rider forum and highly recommend it for bikes. You are dealing with a knowledgeable audience of enthusiasts for the most part, not mouth breathers.

^Generally true, but I got shafted on snipershide over a scope.

They did ban the perpetrator immediately, I will say for them.
