How many southeast Asian migrants do I need to shelter in-house to get my hands on some goddamn fresh kaffir lime leaves? I'm trying to make some beef rendang! There's tons of dried options but I want fresh. I had zero issues finding galangal, and I didn't even know what the hell that was.

Also, apparently they are now becoming "Makrut" lime leaves because "kaffir" has been used as a racial slur in South Africa. Roll Eyes

I'm running out of Asian markets to search in Albuquerque. You'd figure that, since we have such a decent Vietnamese population here, that it wouldn't be so hard to find.

They are at the Thai markets in Nashville. Also Amazon has the fresh leaves.
