I resigned from watchuseek specifically because communism was openly allowed in the forums. Pictures of symbolism and leadership was allowed. Christianity was not allowed.
I know the first amendment protects free speech, but I don’t have be a member where it’s cool to post that stuff.

It started back on St. Patrick's Day when I made a thread for posting Orange, White, or Green dialed watches. I said: "In honor of the Irish flag, let's post Orange for Protestant, Green for Catholic, and White for peace."

This was deleted.

Then, a dude says he accidentally bought a watch with the hammer and sickle on the second hand. The pictures of Marx and Stalin started coming out. I posted "This stuff is allowed but Christianity is not?" My post was deleted.

So you have been there 8 years and haven't seen anything. I was a member there and didn't see it until yesterday.

The Communist stuff from the thread you're referencing was deleted by the moderators as well.

WatchUSeek has a posted rule: No politics or religion.

You got your post deleted for religion. Other folks had their posts deleted for politics. Works both ways.

Most hobby forums don't allow religion or politics. It's easier to simply make a blanket rule than to try to thread the needle on such potentially incidiary stuff, especially on that type of large international forum.

Some forums are like that.

All three of the golf forums I read have very strict rules against politics and religion: They are strictly prohibited.

One of them is so bad I sometimes see one of the owners bitch about somebody transgressing the rules again when I can't even see, anywhere in the thread, what the hell he's talking about.

Hell, one time he nicked me, and I couldn't see anything "political" about my comments in the least.

One of the many things that makes one appreciate SIGforum all the much more Smile

False.
I can't post pictures without a link, but I assure you on page one, post #6, there is a picture of Stalin making the heart symbol with his hands.

There's nothing specifically pro-Communist or political about that Stalin meme gif. The overtly political stuff later in the thread was deleted by moderators.

If one joke photo is enough to put you over the edge into being offended, you won't be able to venture most anywhere on the interwebs.
