Now arriving today 4:45 PM - 6:45 PM
This is the third re-estimate for delivery for this item. This happens every time. Every. Single. Time.
Q: Has anybody, in the entire history of Amazon, ever received a delivery per the first estimate?

rizzleAmazon is pretty good around here, had one order that was delayed. Noticed on the tracking page that I could request a refund.
Got the refund, package arrived couple days later, they did not want it back.
All was done on the chat service, went very well.

79% of the time it arrives as scheduled. The other times it arrives the next day.
5% of the time I experience something like you did. And most all of those times the "shipped from" was not by amazon.

YooperSigsUPS handles Amazon packages here in MQT. Usually without issues.

Expert308I've had a single re-estimate happen, a couple of times. One recent delivery was re-estimated 3 or 4 times and then finally I got an email saying it had been damaged (damage detected by the shipper I assume, since it never arrived at the destination) and "the shipper would contact Amazon". I haven't heard anything further and no refund has happened. But mostly my Amazon deliveries have been pretty smooth.

V-TailI can not recall the last time that AMZL delivered a package per the first schedule that they gave me. Certainly not in the last year or two.
Every delivery schedule has been revised to a later time, typically two or three updates for each one.
At least they delivered this one on the promised day. The three previous orders were anywhere from one to four days late. Hard to understand, since all of those were "sold by Amazon" and there are several Amazon warehouses here in the greater Orlando area, all of them within thirty minutes of me.
USPS and United Parcel have a much better track record than AMZL. The only ones that are worse than AMZL are DHL and FedEx.

Johnny 3eaglesI've had a few, but the re-estimate was for the same day time frame. Up to 10pm.

AnushI have about 50 Amazon orders a year. Always comes on time. Nashville has a large distribution center and I think about 3 more distribution centers within a 100 miles.

Nashville has one of the largest in the country, and there at least 10 in middle Tn.
Many of our orders come on an Amazon van… The only one I have delayed deliveries from is in Lebanon TN, about an hour away. We live in a small burg and I think they sometimes sit on a package a day or so until they get a second order from someone else nearby.
They have bumped me twice recently from one day delivery to two day delivery just because I selected “buy it now” I just learned to never do that! Last time I tried that I caught it, I canceled the order, then re-ordered by putting it in the cart and checking out rather than use to buy it now.

Johnny 3eaglesAmazon is building a 930,000 square foot logistics building at the Port of Little Rock. That's pretty big.

P250UA5We have 3-4 large warehouses here in N Houston. Deliveries are rarely delayed.

tsmccullAlmost always on time here. The fact that they have a distribution center on the other side of town likely explains why most things arrive within hours or the next day.

MuddflapI’m pretty sure my wife owns stock in Amazon. We get a least 1 package a week from them, and a Christmas card, every year, from UPS.
Their 2 day delivery seems to have slipped to 3 or 4 days sometimes, and there have been a very few times that something got lost, but they always took care of it no problem.
