Pocket holsters--an impossible dream
I own a 365. I don't think it a good pocket gun either, even though I bought a Mika and a Sticky (the brand name) holster for it. It is just too large for any but maybe the very largest pockets. It is also very squared-off and block-shaped. A gun like the Seecamp above, Ruger LCP, etc. is contoured and snag-resistant. Also, too many pocket holster makers seem to think the holster needs to retain the gun. All it needs to do is position the gun and keep crud out of the innards. Finally, if any part of your fingers trap or pinch the holster against the gun when drawing, the holster will probably come out. Related: your pocket must be large enough to let you get a firing grip.

A holster pocket holsters for both a J frame and LCP

Works like a charm.

In hot AZ weather 90+% of the time wearing cargo shorts - I agree type of clothing may be a factor, but have also use my A holsters in dress pants jeans chinos etc with no problem

I love pocket carry my favorite method by far

I was using a Boraii pocket holster for my P365. It has a hook on the end and it always stayed in my pocket when I drew the gun. Even in jeans.

I've since changed the frame to a X size so I only pocket carry my Glock 42 nowadays. Using the same brand holster.

Not minority enough!

My normal attire, tucked t-shirt and shorts, only works with pocket carry. My P365 rides in a Sticky (brand) Holster in my Duluth cargo shorts or my CCW Breakaways shorts. Never have an issue with the holster coming out with the pistol.

While I wouldn't carry anything bigger than the P365 in my Duluth shorts, the CCW shorts will handle full sized pistols.

I dress in either jeans or cargo shorts. Often I drop a P365 in a Vedder kydex in my front pocket. Best pocket holster I've ever had, works, never comes out with the gun. Not cheap but WORKS!

I tried pocket carrying my 365 and unless I wore slightly oversized cargo shorts it just didn’t fit. Drawing the gun was also a problem. Due to its size and it taking up all the room in my pocket, it was hard to get my hand in quickly and draw it. I can pull a small .380 out in half the time., and I haven’t had that much of a problem with the holster not staying put.

I pocket carry a 938 in a DeSantis Nemesis daily. It always draws fine. Pants/shorts are typically Wrangler jeans or cargo.

I have been very happy with Galco’s horsehide pocket holsters. In 42-44 pants and shorts, I have had no problems carrying and drawing a CM9, Glock 43, and Glock 26. It takes a little practice, but the hook at the top of the holster catches the pocket just right to keep the holster from coming out.

While I do enjoy my 365, I agree that pocket carry is problematic. I've gone back to my Smith 642 or 37-2 for pocket carry in a Desantis Nemesis holster. Mainly for just out and about stuff, down to the laundry room, running to the market. Just times where I don't have to belt holster up.

I’ll sometimes carry in a pocket holster, but that ‘pocket’ is often a larger coat pocket.

For jeans & such, maybe the Ruger LCP, then there’s the NAA tiny 22.

One could go baggy, cargo shorts or pants, bigger pockets.
