Yes...obsessively. Especially when using an iPhone when spelling mistakes are easier.

I try. Usually I'm on my phone, and my fingers are big and the keyboard is small. Touch screens hate me. Plus sometimes the autocorrect function just makes shit up that makes absolutely no sense that's not even close to what I typed.

I usually read through it at least once before I post and fix anything I find. Then post it and find something else and have to edit it. Then re-read it three days later and find something I missed the first three times...

I do, but I still end up editing for spelling, punctuation and grammar.

Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.

I not only proofread my own writing, I automatically proofread everything I read. Teachers hammered it into my brain at a young age that proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar are important.

I double check everything I do. If you're going to do anything, do it to the best of your ability. It just takes a second to proof read your work.

There's a post in the lounge titled, "Crazy Karen's goes off at a Phillies game, goes viral." Every time I see it I ask myself, "Were there two or more Karens, or are we talking about something that Karen possessed that went off?" Big Grin

I found what you said riveting.
