I know they lost a lot of customers last time they gouged customers on ammo prices. I understand capitalism but then there's taking advantage. Got an email this morning touting 9mm anywhere from $20-$45 for 50 rounds. No thanks.
They're not "cheaper than dirt" even when their prices aren't artificially inflated.

Deleted my CTD bookmark almost immediately after creating it. Saw nothing there to impress me.
You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

Some people don't care about CTD's track record of screwing buyers with their inflated prices. I have talked to people who buy from them regularly and I dont get it??
Some shoppers are just clueless. CTD preys on them.

The ONLY item I recall fitting their name were the $0.99 G3/HK91 20rd surplus mags. Those were truly a steal, but of all their offerings over the years there should sure be more than just one good deal!

They gouged on everything, not just ammo.
10 years ago, I didn't think they were that bad. I bought a pistol from the Ft.Worth location and another from their McKinney store right after it opened. A little over a year later, Sandy Hook happened and a great many more of us found out what true scumbags they are. A neighbor asked me what I thought about that store and I said 'just say no'.

If you can buy the stuff you need elsewhere at a lower price, it's not "gouging," it's just too expensive. I learned years ago to simply shop elsewhere. It keeps your blood pressure lower.

It has been several years but I will confess to purchasing from them previously. At the time, I could not find it anywhere else. Live and learn. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Wolfpacker,

Let’s not forget how after sandy hook they pulled most of the military style weapons/ammo for a little bit then jacked the prices sky high. Not the only ones to do it but they were probably the 1st. Truly a shit company run by shit people
