Bad News: 250 gallons of #2 cost me $950.

Good News: That's a year's worth to heat my shop and run my tractors.

Two months ago I treated my son to 60 gallons; $250.00.

I honestly don’t know how people still on heating oil are doing it these past few years. I think at one point it was nearly $7 a gallon!

Natural gas has gone up too lately but nothing like heating oil and I thank my lucky stars we had gas on our street and were able to upgrade to that after one year of having to use oil.

So far this year $1700 for 330 gal. About $1.30/gal cheaper than last year but about $1.20/gal higher than the year before. Last year was the highest I've ever paid.

That was just for the shop and tractor fuel. Since October of last year, I've burned about $1600 for the house, and will get at least one more fill, maybe two.
