I did not read the statue wrong. I meant to convey that the judge could have fined her, or jailed her, or both, for throwing a drink. Gaetz left Washington to come to court in Pensacola to demand jail and a fine.

I assumed that I would be attacked personally by some for my post instead of engaging in an argument on the gist of my post: That Gaetz is a tool of special interests and a spoiled brat; not a champion of our conservative values. Attacking the messenger instead of the message is more and more common these days. We should be better than that. If you don't agree with my view of Rep. Gaetz then argue why I am wrong about him. I have equal disdain for any party's fools, as we all should. But don't call me a fucking Democrat.
