The ambulance chasing with the bad water lawsuit involving Camp Lejeune is never ending. TV ads, spam emails, and text messages. Enough already! And a lawsuit that covers a 34 year time span from 1953 until 1987? How would you establish if a Marine or family member who died in the mid 1970s, died due to toxic water? And the lengthy list of ailments the lawyers are attributing to bad water seem equally to be caused by any number of factors not related to the water at the Camp. I hope that anyone who has in fact suffered a loss or injury from toxic water at the Camp can receive some recompense. But it looks like the vultures are just looking to cash in on something meant to address a legitimate wrong and turn it into a scam. End of Earth: 2 Miles Upper Peninsula: 4 Miles

What does a lawyer call a Marine with mesothelioma who used Round-Up? A trifecta.

I have no use for these ads or those for Medicare Advantage programs. Drug ads are ridiculous as well.

^^^^^^^^^^ Burn pits are next. Somehow Biden is confident his other son got brain cancer from burn pits in Iraq.

I just saw an ad for burn pit injuries last night! "If Gun Control worked, Chicago would look like Mayberry, not Thunderdome" - Cam Edwards

We're getting them both, usually from the same law firm. Seems like every law firm in this area has jumped on that bandwagon. "Even if the world were perfect it wouldn't be." ... Yogi Berra

Can't watch channels like GRIT and Cozi, etc. without two to three back-to-back Camp Lejeune drinking water, Navy shipyard asbestos, burn pit ads. Thanks, but no thanks...the Navy and Marine Corps has been mailing me (snail and e-mail) things for quite some time about the 2.5 months that I spent at Lejeune. The involved attorneys would get filthy rich, I'd be fortunate to get care at the VA.

Get multiple spam emails about this every day. Fortunately caught by my ISP’s spam filter, but still an annoyance.

Yeah, that one makes me smaile. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

I grew up with the lead partner of the law firm leading the class action suit. That is all they do and have grown to a large predatory vulture firm. Even back when we were younger, the guy was an arrogant condescending POS/prick. There is not one iota of sympathy for any of the sick service members, just finding a gullible crowd and grabbing the bulk of the award.

Was hanging out with a childhood friend and we were making the joke that while in the scouts neither of us was sexually abused. I think it was 1973 that was a really sad year... not only did Jim Croce die but that's when Doctors and Lawyers started to advertise. Before that it was unethical for them to do that. It has only gotten worse. One of Michigan's former Attorney Generals, Mike Cox, has now started running a toxic water suit ad. He plays up the fact he is a former Marine. And how much money he has made for his clients. End of Earth: 2 Miles Upper Peninsula: 4 Miles

I grew up at The Swamp, I mean Camp Lejeune. 1955 to 1961, 2 years in Albany, GA and back to Lejeune and stayed until I went to college In '63, the family stayed though, for 3 more years. All of us feel fine. We never could catch a break. _______________________

The V.A. actually sent me a survey to fill out concerning the water and my time spent at Camp LeJeune when all this business started. I threw it away, never filled it out. (edited to remove my long rant.won't accomplish anything anyway)

Yesterday, I received a Camp Lejeune spam every 2 to 39 minutes. I never served in the Marines so it's just dart board style spamming. My spam folder was bursting at the seams. I was stationed at Camp Lejuene from 1979-1983. I have been following the water issue for a long time, having signed up to get notified of events years ago. I have also signed up with the Bell Legal Group that has been fighting the water issue for many, many years. They are not ambulance chasers. But yeah, now every Tom, Dick and Harry law firm wants join in the lawsuit…..looking for nothing but an easy pay day.
