| The retina specialists here have a routine waiting time of 2 to 3 hours after your appointment time. The front desk people have to deal with the customers. Scheduling isn't exactly rocket science. Good luck with your health. I had a similar thing happened when the doctors thought I had lung cancer but they kept vacillating or was non-committal whether i had it or not even after several operations to get a sample. I quit going when the oncologist wanted me to return every six months as I figure he just wanted residual income streams. That was 5 years ago.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946. |

Tell you my story. I had a slightly elevated PSA of 4.1 and had biopsies, which were negative. They told me to come back in 6 months. After those biopsies,I thought, it will be a cold day in hell before they see me again. My attitude was if the. biopsies are negative today, they're always going to be negative. I stayed away for seven years until my PCP convinced me to repeat the PSA. It came back 7.4. I had surgery and radiation. That was 19 years ago. I'm lucky to be alive. I'd go back if I were you. Did I mention I'm a physician? |
