Saw an article today on Fox News, where former facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg criticized the tradwife movement as sexist and harmful to women.

Said to myself, wtf is “tradwife”? Never heard of it, but then realized what it means. Are people so damn lazy or do they want to be hip that they had to invent another garbage term? Add this to the list of trendy (aka garbage) terms that I will cringe every time I see it.

It could be forgiven as a "trendy" or "slangy" foreshortening of "traditional", were it not being used in a patronizing, almost contemptuous manner, as a pejorative, that there's something somehow wrong with it.

A stay at home mom or dad? Home schooling if possible. This is the best thing for children

Sheryl made her $2Billion at Facebook, wrote her book about being top of the working world and then had her reputation taken down in a tell all book by her assistant. According to the assistant, Sheryl was doing Harvey Weinstein level harassment.

Sheryl went off the radar for a few years and she can go away again for all I care.

I wouldn't worry too much, Tradwives are the only ones having Tradchildren who are growing up and becoming Tradpeople and saving the species and civilization.

Just gotta watch out for the Tardwife, that's a tough time.
