I really don’t get this. Are they trying to capitalize on the nostalgia factor of all the kids that grew up on in this the 80s?

You’ve got the two douchey Kelce brothers shilling it, I’m seeing commercials on primetime at night for this stuff. Must be a moneymaker I guess?

While the Cinnamon Toast Crunch marketing crossover is a new development, the underlying concept of candied bacon (i.e. bacon coated with sugar and spice) has been a thing for ages.

Apparently, it’s Taylor Swift’s favorite cereal so I’m guessing that’s a big part of this.

They keep pushing her like she’s the second coming of Christ or something

I was 39 years old when it came out and have been eating it ever since then. I had Cinnamon Toast Crunch with strawberries this morning.

EEEEEEEEEW! That bacon sounds awful. While the cereal is good, I still consider it yet another dessert cereal, so I pass.

You can't use that as the be-all and end-all of nutritional guidance.

For example, here are some ingredient breakdowns that you'd need a Chemistry degree to decipher, many of which sound scary, and taken out of context you'd probably think were toxic... but it's just basic naturally-grown fruit:

One of the few cereals my 4 kids would eat.
They are all brain damaged adults so it turned out just fine.

"Someone Decided" for sure. Hell, the whole 60's movement was started by the big New York fashion houses with too much oddball material. Pay a few cool people some cash to wear weirdo outfits and the rest is history. Smile
