I can't surf weapons-related websites on their wifi?

I'm in the habit of letting my wife roam free at WalMart while I sit at the counter in Dunkin' Donuts (genius that, putting a DD in a WalMart!) sip on some coffee, munch a donut and surf on my phone.

Up until today, I have been able to hit SigForum and get my fix. Now all of a sudden it's blocked.

I'm sure that makes sense to someone, but it ain't me.

Or disable wifi and use your phone service network for browsing. Enable wifi again when you are done.

I'm really hating on Wal Mart these days. We're down to one trip every couple of months, and only that often because I use their proprietary blood glucose monitor strips. We recently moved, and this Wal Mart's employees suck so bad.

Go to that store, have them call the store manager.
9;00 am is the best time as he is finishing up his [her] rounds, introduce your self and call them by their name.
Tell you problem. They will accommodate you, they do not want you complaining to Bentonville.
They will usually have a bunch of department heads in tow,and they will remember you are the person that puts up with no shit.
I did this at my local store, was a hell hole before I did exactly what I described to you to do.
Now I love going there, people 's attitude changes once you become a name to them .

Mine still has no guns signs on the front doors. Granted, they are posting them incorrectly according to state law, so they don't mean jack.

Still, WTF, Walmart?

The really delicious part is I was sitting there with my S&W 60 under my shirt and a couple of speed strips in my pocket.

I was surprised, while waiting during my wife's recent hospital visit, to find the hospital's free WiFi did not have SF blocked.

How sad is that, to be surprised when free access to public, legal information is not blocked?

OTOH, I don't have a problem wi-fi access that is provided by an individual or company can set the rules and standards for whatever content they see fit over their network. I may not agree with what they allow/restrict, however, it is their private network that allows free access to a public service with public information.

It's their network, we can always turn off wi-fi or get a vpn to bypass it.

I'm pretty sure they don't sell Sigs in the very anemic gun dept. of Walmart and so why would they let you go to anything Sig related on their web site? Now if Sigs were made in China like 95% of the stuff Walmart sells......

I used to be able to visit sigforum while working at the school but wasn’t allowed to view games-related sites. The kids would spend too much time on Steam so all gaming sites were blocked.
