When I got married the 1st time, the cost to alter/tailor my dress was over $500. That was in 1995.

2nd marriage, I bought my dress, new off eBay, for really cheap, then took it to a local tailor to have it taken in & total cost was about $75.

My brother (groom), my dad, and the bride's dad, all got into a fist fight at the wedding. The brides dad was a violent drunk. He was thrown in a dumpster when it was all over with.

Good ol southern wedding.
