There used to be a time, not that long ago, where you could use MS Word to create all sorts of things on your own. You could make business cards, posters, greeting cards, labels, etc.

Now it appears you are forced to use templates created by others. You can't modify this other than the text so you have to use their format. It wouldn't be bad if they had a plain one but no, every one looks like a marketing person crapped all over it in technicolor. Oh, and when you finally get it in some semblance of a form you can live with, at least one of the cards will default to the authors name as soon as you save.

You also can't seem to type what you want any more in Word or even in a text. They software is trying to predict what you want to say (and is wrong 80% of the time) and changes the text to what it wants you to say. It takes 4-5 iterations of back spacing and re-typing before it will FINALLY let you type what you want... then there is a chance when you hit send or enter, it will change it back at least once anyway.

Who started this nightmare? Granted, I have no problem with people setting up templates for people to use if they like it, but don't force me to HAVE to only use those with NO other choice.

Sorry, super pissed at the moment as I just got done fighting with Word and couldn't send a simple text to my parents because the app kept trying to predict what I wanted to say and was 100% wrong.

Are you saying it’s autocorrecting or entering what it thinks you’re about to type? Can’t you turn that feature off?

Let me put in a bad Word here for Adobe Acrobat. Every few years they change it so old-time customers can’t figure out where the simplest thing is. The navigation panel? Where the hell did it go? I just want to extract a couple of pages, have to search how to do it in the. Ew and I proved Acrobat.

Nine months since I down loaded up grades and "improvements"

( I don't have wi fi)

Took it to US Cellular to find out what to do.

I took them ninty minutes to get it all down loaded.

It took them thirty more minutes to put everything like it used to be.
