That's not entirely true. I consider myself a pretty 'natural' kind of guy. Wink

It is no coincidence your sheep were about the lamb either.

Good luck. As they say. "Knock'em in the head."

And, oh yea. They'll be back.

The cool things I learn on gun forums! Llamas and donkeys who would have thunk it? Always lots of smart people around these parts.

Yup. Smile When I first moved to Missouri 20 years ago, I was told by just about everyone that we have no cougars in the area. Two weeks later, our local little newspaper posted up a picture of a HUGE cat that was killed by a vehicle. So there is that. I will say that I am an active hunter and have never seen any signs of a cougar in my woods.

I have hunted coyotes on occasion back there just to have something to do. Electronic callers work very well. The AR is a very effective weapon for these guys.

Do you have an AR?
Can you use it on your property?

I do have an AR, and it has been used
I just don't have the time to wait for them.
Any volunteers in the upstate?lol

Why wait for them?
Make them come to you!

I'd look on Craigslist or similar for a used one.
I have two friends that have used the Eletronic Callers with great success, one uses some chicken as well. He's also got a taxidermist that pays (I think) about $40 for a good pelt.

Hell, if I was closer or had the time off, I'd help!

Back in my coyote hunting days I knew guys who used the electronic calls and I knew guys who used the mouth-blown calls. Personally, I just looked in the newspaper for someone trying to get rid of a litter of kittens. Couple of kittens in a cardboard box sitting on the slope of a hill in the cold wind, with me a hundred yards downwind and a good rifle. Worked every time.
