Brooks Brothers has gone to crap, their Factory Store line is garbage. Most stuff China or Vietnam. Sad used to Shop on Madison Ave store in NYC now it's closed.

Dewalt --now mostly plastic gears and regular changes in battery systems designed to get you to upgrade

I’m pretty happy with Milwaukee power tools. Unlike DeWalt they seem to support their older products at least in my experience. I’m still bitter that my 18v drill battery has been “upgraded” to a 20v. But to use it I need of course the battery, an adapter and a new charger. $199 dollars, and I’m expected to buy this to keep using a tool that cost me maybe $120 about ten years ago? I think not, time for the red tools.

I have a Sawzall that I bought in 1999, the keyless Chuck broke. I was able to get a repair kit for it about two months ago.

Most lawn mowers and garden tractors are made my MTD. Buy what you thought was a John Deere or Cub Cadet, and you're getting a low tier re-badged economy mower. I;m snapping up all the gas powered walk behinds I can. Briggs Quantum and Honda GCV 160'S are my favorites. Keep clogging up the carbs with ethanol fuel, and not running them dry in the Fall, and I'll gladly pick them up on the curb in the Spring. I have enough spares to last my lifetime.

Oreo, they changed the packages, they are smaller like most brand however, they put dividers into the plastic retaining packages so there is more space between each cookie that used to touch each other. So it's even less quantity.
