What's the going price for over-the-road and off-road diesel in your neck of the woods these days?

In my younger days, I fed my hungry boiler 50 gallons at a time when it was close to payday and I couldn't afford to fill the tank with heating oil (1000gal buried). Got me through some cold nights.

Not sure on diesel prices, I'd have to look. If I were to guess, I'd say in the $4 range.

I just went to order propane for my northern Michigan cabin and cancelled before I hit the submit button. I have a 325 gallon tank and I usually fill it at about 40% (they only fill it to 80%). Five weeks ago it was $1.699 and gallon, today it is $2.989 a gallon. I am going to hold off to see if it goes down a little. I was shocked! In my 8 yrs of owning the cabin I have never paid that much for propane.

$3.399 here and I'd bet that's for bulk delivery. For my little tanks for the generator, it's likely a dollar or more higher.
