That is not fresh corn and is many days old depending how it was stored. I would take it back if the store is close by or feed it to the neighbors hogs for some bacon.

The Corn Gods were smiling on me today as I got to Giant as the employee finished putting out a box of fresh corn. Another 30 ears at 20 cents each.

Giant Foods has the holiday sale of corn for $.20/ear. There was a pile of corn left over from several days ago so I had a hard time finding 20 fresh ears.

It was all white and not the bi-colored corn they had the 4th July.

That makes 100 ears for this summer.
