HRKInflation strikes again - replacement tail light
Back in 2021 we upgraded the lights on the Club Car DS to LED, a set for the rear was $35 for TWO lights.
Well the warranty on the ChingTow made lights is one year, and we need one replacement.
Cost of 1 replacement, $35 plus shipping...
The price had doubled in two years, so much for the reported rate of inflation....

P250UA5We put new LED lights up at our ranch at the deer cleaning area. My dad had gotten 2 pairs by mistake for another project & paid something like $35 for each pair.
Looked them up while we were wiring it all up & they're up near $70/pair less than a year later.

Required to get low speed license plates here in TX, along with a few other requirements.
More newer ones seem to have them by default, that I've seen.

Yes 03 Club Car DS, came with factory lights, we upgraded to LED back in the late unpleasantness of 21.
Found the order and did a warranty check, 1 year, no problem just need one, guy quoted $35 plus shipping, more than I paid for both LED tail lights in 2021.

jed7s9bWhy would we expect Corporate America to keep selling China crap for cheap when they’ve eliminated all competition.

PASigI just stopped at my local grocery store chain (Giant) for some things for a charcuterie board for NYE
Nearly $5 for a small box of Triscuit crackers and nearly $5 for a small jar of gherkin type pickles.
This isn’t sustainable

You might be surprised at some of the fancy schmancy golf carts, especially in some communities where golf carts are the primary local transportation. The Villages in Florida is an example of that.

egregoreSo they are used to get around on streets in a gated community. OK. I didn't think golf was played after dark.

Although, at my first job at a golf course, in the summer some people would stay out until sunset.
More recently, a
ex former boss of mine put a 900cc Suzuki motorcycle engine in a golf cart. At the time of my leaving he had not finished it, so I didn't see it run.

Here is a shot of just one street in one town square in the Villages. There are 3 large town squares, and a smaller one. You can go everywhere in a golf cart. Walmart, Publix, Shooters World, restaurants, etc.

Out of my league, but no knowledge is ever useless.
