Did you go out to eat? Is it possible you were exposed to it before you went and didn’t get tester until you had symptoms a week later? I think they say to wait 5 days after symptoms start to get an accurate test result.

We never get sick in Northern Michigan as we aren’t cooped up inside with a bunch of other people. Our place is midway between Rogers City and Cheboygan. We get the back-to-school sick every time we come home and our kids go back to school.

It was like a bad cold for the wife. After 7 days she was back in bed. I didn’t get it thankfully. After 10-11 days she was back to normal.

Are you sure you got the particular, specific Covid-19 virus, and not just a common cold?

People still take Covid tests? I ask because in 56 years I’ve had colds and flu and never once even considered going to a Dr. Covid seems to have changed all that for many people.

Ensigmatic is right. Once you feel better, strive to get to a healthy weight and back into shape. That’s your best defense against, well, everything. Anything else is an occasionally effective bandaid.

Replace the word "covid" with flu or a cold and see how silly everybody is acting about this crap.
Eat some chicken soup and get some rest. You'll be fine.

My dad (90) left work early the other night (lol, yep) and went to a walk in clinic hoping to get something for his cough and chest congestion. First thing they did was give him a Covid test and it came back positive. When he got home he dug out one of the home test kits and it agreed.

Today his wife took a home test and she also showed positive.

Now the worst thing for my father is that she's blaming him for giving it to her.

Him, who doesn't really go anywhere, even at work he interacts with 1 other person. Last week she traveled and went to large wedding and family function and was around LOTS of people. She works... around lots of people. Goes to stores and other places with lots of people.

So OBVIOUSLY he gave it to her. Roll Eyes Wink

I’ve been sick the past eight days. Didn’t bother to test. Kids have been sick too. Getting better now. Just a persistent cough now. I think I’m dehydrated.

We have a pile of free gov’t covid tests. Still in storage. Lol.

Again for those asking how they are getting it; Covid is now ENDEMIC. Meaning it’s out there everywhere just like the common cold and flu which it’s just become another version of. It’s everywhere now and that’s just how it’s going to be. Treat it like a cold or flu because that’s all it is now.

It's a little insulting to see people blow this off as a cold . My Mom had Covid . Developed Pneumonia , and died .

Where Covid-19 is concerned: Perhaps not as much as you might think. Many people who catch it are largely or entirely asymptomatic. For those who become symptomatic it can take up to fourteen days to become so.

The last time I had it a couple of years ago I caught it from a guy who did not yet know that he had it but he did know he had been exposed.
