In Gen Z speak, it means you are getting stared at by someone who is obviously infatuated with you. Roll Eyes

You would think the correct spelling to imply that meaning would be "gaze" or "gazed"

Even auto correct fucked my post up!

Yeah getting “glazed” is just more Gen Z bullshit terminology. I’ve heard them say “glizzy” or “glizzies” and you have to hear it in a sentence. It can mean a hotdog, hotdogs, or a Glock Roll Eyes

A lot of this bs is from these horrible young rappers. I mean I’ve listened to hip hop since 1979 when the Sugar Hill Gang really kicked it off. 80’s good. 90’s good. Early 00’s, some great stuff. Mid 2000’s to now, just horrible shit. They talk about their Glizzy (Glock) with ‘dat’ “switch” (means with automatic enabled).

Every other day it’s some new bullshit. They have no lives of their own or they wouldn’t have time to sit around and come up with this bullshit.

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

Newsflash: Old guys who said "far out" and "dig it" (or "rad" and possibly "tubular") don't like latest generation's slang words.

More at 7.

The two that piss me off the most are “it’s giving” and “ahh” instead of just saying ass.

That shit’s gay as fuck.

Everyone is saying "I appreciate YOU" now.

Younger people think every noun is now a verb - "I gifted them..." instead of "I gave them..."

People in police body cam videos say "bro" every second word, even to females.

"crashed out" I had to look it up. I mean, I've heard of people crashed out on your couch or your floor, but have never heard it in the way the innerwebbs says it means. Can't say I recall reading it either. And I spend my days interacting with the trendiest and dumbest of college students.

I use "groovy" all the time, just to keep people on their toes. I also have Copa Cabana as my ringtone and when my phone rings I tell people it'll still be in their heads an hour from now.

As long as I understand what someone is trying to communicate to me , I'm not going to make an issue of how they say it.

It's a black thing.
You will hear it soon enough from the white kids as they almost always pick up the slang.
The demographic of that subset is about 5% at your campus?

And I'll not deny my irritation is that the term sounds silly, when many other's are available that actually convey "loosing one's emotional composure".
Meltdown, works, as does, rampage, raging, and such.

"Crashing/crashing out" to me, denotes a ceasing or stopping of motion/action and what the people/object as it is applied to them are doing anything but "nothing".

I have a very literal interpretation of things and a lot of brain power "transposing" things so I 'get it". It's constant work.

That's my bitch about it.

There's a great number of words, terms and phrases over the years I have found fitting, useful and even, likable.
It's not a bashing of all such idioms.

finally heard the term last week. lady called 911 and said we need to come remove her drunk boyfriend and that he will crash out if he sees police. None of us had a clue what crashed out meant. So six of us show up to kick him out. He chose not to crash out.
He left willingly and on his own two feet. Not our twelve feet.
